Is there a nicer country than Ireland for spending either real fishing holidays or simply holidays with your whole family ? Maybe not.
Fishermen have always thought about fishing salmon and trout when coming to Ireland whereas non-fishermen are thinking about walks in the country-side and both, of course, enjoy having a pint of Guinness in one of the pubs.
“Rock House” is an estate of 30.000 acres situated in Co. Mayo on the west coast of Ireland which is one of the wildest and most unspoilt regions of Ireland.
The estate has, apart from some lakes for brown trout and rainbow trout fishing, two rivers for salmon and sea-trout fishing : the rivers Owenduff and Bellaveeny.
